My first experience of eyebrow grooming was tweezing my own brows after a girl in 7th grade made fun of how unruly they were. In retrospect, my eyebrows were actually just fine! If I had left them alone and gone to see the right eyebrow aesthetician from the beginning, I may have avoided years of eyebrow ups and downs.
Which brings me to our latest video with LA eyebrow guru, Helena Tamargo! Some of her clients include stars like Selena Gomez and Chloe Moretz. She’s really a magician when it comes to eyebrow transformations.
When I started seeing Helena, my eyebrows weren’t as awful as this throwback photo to the left, but they sure weren’t my ideal shape. I always dreamt of thick, bushy, Brooke Shields eyebrows, but didn’t think I had enough hair achieve anywhere near that fullness. But through a mixture of following Helena’s grooming advice, tinting and regular eyebrow grooming appointments with her, my eyebrows are bushier than I could ever imagine! And my face is framed in a way I never thought possible. And we haven’t reached my full eyebrow potential yet!
